Founded in Sweden in 1936, Hubexo —formerly Byggfakta Group—specialises in project information, product information, specification, market intelligence, and eTendering. Hubexo operates in 25 countries across five key regions: North East Europe, North America, United Kingdom & Ireland, West Europe and Asia Pacific.

 

Hubexo is owned by a private equity consortium of Stirling Square Capital Partners, TA Associates and Macquarie Capital. Dario Aganovic was appointed CEO in 2022.

Dario Aganovic

Since I joined the business as CEO in 2022, I’ve been committed to fostering a culture where our people are at the heart of everything we do. I make it a priority to visit all our global offices, so that all our colleagues are connected as one global team with our mission, vision and values. With more than 25 years of experience spanning mechanical engineering, robotics, sales, and healthcare, my diverse background gives me a unique perspective on leadership and innovation.

When I’m not meeting our amazing Hubexo colleagues all over the world, I love diving into British crime series, exploring classic hip-hop, and discovering new vegetarian dishes from around the world.

Joakim Percival

As Chief Product Officer, I’m on a mission to revolutionize the construction industry with cutting-edge products that empower our customers to build smarter and more sustainably. My global journey—from engineering to top-level leadership—has shaped my passion for technology and innovation. I’m particularly focused on helping the construction ecosystem tackle its sustainability challenges, driving real, impactful change through our products. Hubexo offers a unique platform to make this vision a reality, and I’m excited to be part of it.  

Outside of work, I consider myself a collector of experiences; traveling, and anything science or fantasy related in books, movies, TV or video games. Being a father of two is also a great experience of course, mostly.

Derren Nisbet, CRO of Hubexo

As Chief Revenue Officer, I lead Hubexo’s global revenue organization, driving alignment across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations to strengthen our market position and accelerate growth. My role is focused on building a unified commercial strategy that delivers exceptional value to our clients and partners worldwide.

I’ve spent my career guiding technology businesses through transformation and growth, always with a focus on people, purpose, and performance. A firm believer in stoicism, I’m guided by the principle of “doing the right thing,” something that strongly aligns with Hubexo’s core values.

Outside of work, I’m an active CrossFit athlete – balanced by a love of great food and wine. My favourite book is Meditations by Marcus Aurelius, favourite film Glengarry Glen Ross, favourite wine La Rioja Alta, and favourite artist – Eminem.

As Chief Operating Officer, I lead our teams in Tech Delivery, Research and Technical Content, Solution Architecture, and Group IT, all in the pursuit of operational excellence. With 25 years of experience in IT leadership across the pharmaceutical and MedTech industries, I’m passionate about harnessing global talent to create state-of-the-art software solutions driven by deep customer insights. My goal is to combine our collective strengths to develop solutions that truly make a difference.

Outside of work, I enjoy quality time with my wife and three children, especially at our summer house on Öland. You might also find me running, skiing, or riding my motorcycle.

My background in B2B and B2G SaaS fuels my passion for driving innovation and leading the charge in the construction industry’s digital revolution. My goal is to position Hubexo as an unstoppable force globally. I’m particularly excited about the opportunity to consolidate our market presence and expand our solutions portfolio through strategic partnerships and acquisitions.  

Outside the office, you can find me sailing the seas, experimenting with Mediterranean cuisine, or sharpening my skills on the padel court.

I lead People & Culture at Hubexo North East Europe, driven by a simple conviction: when people feel genuine belonging, purpose and room to grow, performance follows.

My career started on the commercial side—I’ve headed marketing, product, sales and customer-success teams at high-growth SaaS companies competing in subscription-driven markets. Those years taught me that culture is the ultimate competitive edge, so I gradually shifted into People & Culture to build the conditions that unlock it. At Hubexo my mission is to give every colleague a platform where investing a big part of their life makes sense—because they leave each day stronger both professionally and personally.

Away from work I stay intentionally curious and strive to be the best version of myself for my wife, kids, family and friends. Keeping the body in shape helps the mind, so you’ll often find me swimming, cycling, or sharpening my coordination (and patience!) on the golf course.

Nicklas Ahlroth

Tech Delivery, Nordics

As a leader in the Tech Delivery organization, I get the opportunity to lead, learn from and support our talented product developers in Sweden, Norway, and Finland. With 15 years of experience within Tech, People & Culture, and IT, I look forward to making sure these dimensions are developed successfully and effectively to form a Tech Delivery team in North East Europe that is well integrated into the wider Hubexo organization. I put people and aspirations in the center and consistently strive to create a culture and an atmosphere that support people’s ambitions and personal objectives.

Outside of work, I am a basketball fan into the core. It’s been my passion through life, and more than 35 years after I bounced my way through my first real practice, it is still one of the highlights of my weeks. Besides basketball, I also enjoy golf, skiing and to discover new places around the world.

Thomas Simonsen

Vice President KAM, Commercial Nordics

As VP of Key Account Management in the Nordics, I have the pleasure of leading, developing, and learning from our talented KAM teams across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland. With 18+ years of commercial experience – including 6 years in FMCG and 12 years in subscription-based businesses across B2C and B2B – I work with clear purpose to build structures that drive growth, strong customer relationships, and high performance.

My focus is on building a Nordic KAM organization that is closely integrated with the rest of Hubexo and serves as a central growth engine through customer insight, value creation, and execution capability. I care deeply about creating a culture and setup where accountability, performance, and collaboration go hand in hand, and where we as a team continuously raise the bar – both for the business and for the individual.

Outside of work, I am passionate about football, which has been a constant part of my life for many years, and whenever the opportunity arises I am in the stands soaking up the atmosphere. I also stay active in the gym when time allows.

Andreas Halvorsen

I joined the Nordic business in Ljusdal in 1998 as a programmer and database administrator. Since then, I have grown alongside the company through significant change, working closely with colleagues both locally and across the globe. This journey has led me into IT infrastructure, where I now lead our global infrastructure team. Our mission is to harmonise the Hubexo infrastructure and deliver a unified employee experience worldwide.
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling and make a point of visiting new locations to experience local cultures and cuisine.

As VP Marketing for the Nordics, I hold full responsibility for brand, marketing, and go‑to‑market across our Nordic markets and product portfolio. My focus is on ensuring strong, consistent positioning and measurable business impact through close alignment between marketing, sales, and product.
I have been part of Hubexo since 2014 and have held multiple commercial and leadership roles over more than 12 years. This has given me a solid, holistic perspective on our market, customers, and organization — and a deep understanding of how marketing can most effectively support growth, transformation, and scalability in a complex B2B environment.

In my role, I prioritize clear strategic choices, data‑driven decision‑making, and strong teams. I work deliberately with modern B2B marketing disciplines such as branding, demand generation, go‑to‑market strategy, and marketing performance — always with a sharp focus on impact and ROI.
